Agricola Queensland Community
Welcome to the AgricolaQLD Website, Agricola is the association of Sri Lankan Graduates in Queesnland, informally establish in which now boasts a membership around 40.
It began in 2006 with a small gathering at a national park in Queensland, when we decided to form a support network for Sri Lankan agriculture graduates to help each other in their academic and professional pursuits.
We plan to perform as a registered non-profit organization and are always looking for new members. The membership is free of charge and can be registered through the current website.
Our members are employed in agriculture and non-agriculture related sectors in Queensland and make a significant contribution to economy.
The main purpose of this website is to introduce our society as a non-profit organization and provide useful information to Sri Lankan Agriculture graduates who are considering migrating to Australia.
It is also expected to serve as a networking tool for fellow agriculture graduates to make useful contacts with each other, exchange ideas, information and news for their mutual benefit and for the betterment of the community, they serve.
Members are encouraged to express their ideas freely and air any questions they may have and take part in discussions in the forum.
This association and website are in its infancy so please watch this space for future developments.
